PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Urban Playground is not just a furniture but a space where people can sit down and take a break from busy urban life. The structure functions as a playground which has a slide and holes for kids. Children can play with the furniture by going up and down the slide and playing hide and seek through the playground. It can be placed anywhere both inside as a interior furniture and outside as a street furniture. Urban Playground has a waffle structure rigidly jointed one another composed of tansformed 30X30X30cm modules. The waffle structure is exposed and used for important design elements such as book shelves, planters and exhibition boxes. The furniture is made out of plywoods, polycarbonates, and steel joints. In addition, it is designed to assemble and build easily.
