Studio M.U.Te. is founded by Hye Seung Lee and Jinsuk Seo. The studio is an interdisciplinary design studio aiming to integrate architecture, landscape, and infrastructure. The name Studio M.U.Te. is an acronym for Multiply Undefined Territories, based on the practical attitude that architecture is not a single solution but multiple questions / conversations on various contemporary issues in the here and now.
스튜디오 뮤트는 다양한 분야간의 유연한 대화와 연구를 통해 건축, 랜드스케이프, 인프라스트럭쳐의 통합을 추구합니다. Studio M.U.Te.는 Multiply Undefined Territories의 약어로 건축은 하나의 고정된 정답이 아니라 지금-여기에서의 지속적이고 다양한 질문과 대화들이라는 실천적 태도를 견지합니다.

Hye Seung Lee | KIRA(Korea), RA(Pennsylvania, USA) / Co-Founder, Principal
Hye Seung Lee is a co-founder of Studio M.U.Te. She is a registered architect in Korea and Pennsylvania, USA. She received Master of Architecture with Urban Design Certificate at University of Pennsylvania. She also holds Bachelor of Science in Architecture Engineering with honors and Master of Architecture from Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea. She is an adjunct professor at Hanyang University.
이혜승 | Studio M.U.Te.의 공동대표/한양대학교 건축학부 겸임교수이며 한국(KIRA)/미국 건축사(RA Pennsylvania, USA)이다. 한양대학교에서 건축을 전공하고 동 대학원에서 석사학위를 취득하였다. 미국 펜실베니아 대학(University of Pennsylvania)에서 건축과 도시를 공부하고 건축전공으로 석사학위(M.Arch with Urban Design Certificate)를 취득하였다.
Jinsuk Seo | RA(Pennsylvania, USA) / Co-Founder, Principal
Jinsuk Seo is a co-founder of Studio M.U.Te. He is a registered architect in Pennsylvania, USA. He received Master of Architecture at University of Pennsylvania where he won the E.Lewis Dales Traveling fellowship and the Newberry Scholarship. He also holds Bachelor of Science in Architecture Engineering with honors from Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea. He is an adjunct professor at Hanyang University.
서진석 | Studio M.U.Te.의 공동대표/한양대학교 건축학부 겸임교수이며 미국 건축사(RA Pennsylvania, USA)이다. 한양대학교에서 건축을 전공하였다. 미국 펜실베니아 대학(University of Pennsylvania)에서 건축전공으로 석사학위(M.Arch)를 취득하였고 E.Lewis Dales Traveling fellowship 과 the Newberry Scholarship을 수상하였다.
Hanseo So | Senior Designer
소한서 | Studio M.U.Te.의 팀장으로 한양대학교 건축학과를 졸업하고 2022년 스튜디오에 합류하였다. 하나의 물음에서 파생되는 정답 없는 생각들이 축적되어 좋은 공간으로 이어진다고 믿는다. 경계 없는 물음을 던지며 다양한 규모의 프로젝트에 도전하고 있다.
